Not only is the suburb bursting with birdlife, with tall trees, masses of flora, the Palmiet River and Sunnybrae Park, but many homeowners are positioned to take full advantage of expansive views of greater Durban from this well-elevated node of Westville. Residents are spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants, with Atasca, Poco Loco and Aroy Thai being firm favourites. The running club also keeps the community fit and social.

What amenities are on offer in Atholl Heights?

Atholl Heights is a small suburb between Pinetown and Westville which caters for all sectors of the community and has appeal for affordable family living – including schooling, with Star College one of the main attractions why people are moving to the area. This includes the Muslim community, as a Musallah has been created, which is a place of worship. Westville North Shopping Centre has a spa, doctor, dentist and a Halaal butchery. There's also a variety of shops including a hardware shop, a supermarket as well as a bottle store and garage. The convenience of all the necessary shopping makes this small suburb unique in its own way.
